This pin is designed and manufactured by Readspeed, out of EN37 steel and hardened to rockwell 70, to allow you to convert your crankshaft to run a 24mm big end for using a con rod such as the 116mm long Rotax rod, which originates out of a microlight.
This conversion with the Rotax rod allows you to use an 18mm small end which opens up alot more options for pistons such as a wide array of japanese motorcross pistons. Therefore allowing you to build bigger capacity engines with a stronger piston. Also the other advantage of this conversion is that the 24mm big end means a larger surface area and less big end wear and higher RPMs are more sustainable.
The sides of the pin are 22mm in diameter allowing you to use most crankshaft webbs with no modification.
