The VHSH 30mm carburettor is a neat and compact flat slide carburettor that can be used on TS1 or piston port cylinders like the rapido 225cc 0r 200cc and many other applications. Its smaller size can be an advantage if you have a long range fuel tank, it also benefits from a metal slide cap as opposed to the VHSB having a larger plastic one. This carburettor can also be used with almost all exhausts and combined with a JL3 or JL4 can vastly improve your vehicle's performance and BHP.
The advantage of a VHSH 30mm flatslide over a round slided carburettor like the PHBH is that because the slide is much smaller it means you get higher depression and therefore atomises the fuel into smaller molecules giving cleaner carburation. Another advantage of the VHSH 30mm over the VHSB 34mm is that due to the smaller diameter the airspeed through the carburettor is much quicker and will, therefore, be more responsive at lower RPM and will give you more drive out of the corner. And more importantly, with the constant rise in fuel prices, you will find this carburettor will be more fuel efficient than some of the larger carburettors.
This carb kit is designed to run under side panels with no need to cut holes.
Before sending out your carb kit we will re-jet the carburettor to roughly suit your application, cutting down on expensive guess work.
