The Spirit & Song CDs are an excellent sampling of music by some of today’s best-known contemporary Christian artists. Available as nine CDs in five volumes (four two-CD sets and one single disc), the recordings feature at least one verse and refrain from the 213 songs in the Spirit & Song songbook.
Many songs were recorded specifically for this project, including some popular worship songs with new arrangements. An excellent preparation and rehearsal tool, these CDs are a great way to learn new songs - especially if you want to capture the nuances of a piece that aren't always communicated through the printed music.
Volume five contains recordings of all the Mass settings, while the other four volumes contain a balanced selection of songs and psalms from the songbook.
